2011 Honda Pilot SUV

Check out what people are saying about the 2011 Honda Pilot SUV. Call us today to learn more. :)

The Honda Pilot earned its reputation as one of the original innovators in the crossover SUV segment, raising the prominence of on-road driving sophistication, three-row passenger capability and higher fuel efficiency compared to conventional SUV designs.

Currently in its second generation, the Pilot continues to represent the refined, comfortable, and family-oriented vehicle choice with space for eight passengers and a wide variety of useful capabilities and premium features. New for 2011, the availability of the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ expands to the Pilot EX-L model, a feature previously exclusive to the top-level Pilot Touring model.

"The Honda Pilot excels at providing the capabilities that people desire most from a family-oriented SUV," said Vicki Poponi, assistant vice president of Product Planning for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "The Pilot emphasizes safety, versatile cargo areas and comfortable space for adults and children, while also providing a smart balance between all-weather capabilities, refined driving dynamics and overall fuel efficiency."

The 250-horsepower V-6 engine provides both performance and enhanced efficiency with Variable Cylinder Management™, a technology that can deactivate up to three of the engine's six cylinders to save fuel when cruising or lightly accelerating.

The available Variable Torque Management™ 4-Wheel-Drive (VTM-4®) directs power to the wheels with the most traction in rain, snow and slippery terrain. All models are equipped with a standard towing hitch receiver and a maximum tow rating of 4,500 pounds on 4WD models and 3,500 pounds on 2WD models1.

Read what our customers have to say...

At Honda Mall of Georgia, we believe the customer is #1. Please take a moment to read what one of our customers had to say about their experience.

On Monday, March 8, 2010, my wife and I purchased a new CR-V from Honda Mall of Georgia.

We were initially pleased with the neat look of both the inside and outside of your dealership. During the several days leading up to, and during, our actual purchase of a new CR-V, we were assisted by Gray Elliott, Sales Consultant. Gray was very helpful in our reaching a decision to buy a vehicle from Honda Mall of Georgia. He was professional in his approach to the entire process, without using any high pressure tactics. He was also extremely courteous to both my wife and I. He is an asset to your organization.

After we agreed to purchase the CR-V, all our financial transactions were handled by Shahed Khan, Financial Services Manager. Shahed also was quite professional in explaining all the numerous documents we were required to sign. Like Gray, Shahed was very courteous throughout the financial process. This "courtesy factor" at your dealership impressed us a great deal.

So far, we are enjoying our new vehicle. Friends of ours who own a CR-V are all saying we will be very glad that we purchased one. We will be glad to recommend this particular vehicle, as well as Honda Mall of Georgia to our family members and friends.

Sincerely,

John P. Kidd

Statement by Honda regarding Recall

I thought the information below was important to share with you, our customers.

Honda has expanded a previously announced recall of certain 2001 and 2002 model-year vehicles to replace the driver's airbag inflator in an additional 378,758 vehicles in the U.S. The driver's airbag inflators in these vehicles may deploy with too much pressure, which can cause the inflator casing to rupture and could result in injury or fatality.

In total, Honda is aware of 12 incidents related to this issue as of February 2010. While Honda was aware of two additional events when the decision to first expand the recall was made in July 2009, we are not aware of any new events that have occurred after July 2009. However, we have concluded that we cannot be completely certain that the driver's airbag inflator in the vehicles being added to this recall at this time will perform as designed. Therefore, we have decided to add certain 2001 and 2002 Accord, Civic, Odyssey, CR-V, and selected 2002 Acura TL vehicles to this recall.*
