Today at the Orange County International Auto Show Honda introduced the 2012 CR-V Concept to the world, showing the styling direction for the all-new, fourth-generation CR-V. The 2012 model will be on sale by the end of the year, but you can see Honda Mall of Georgia's inventory right now.
"The 2012 CR-V Concept strongly hints at the more dynamic and refined look of the upcoming model," said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda in a released statement. "As the best-selling SUV in each of the past four years, the 2012 CR-V promises to build on its highly successful formula with even more style, innovative features and higher fuel economy."
New styling for the CR-V Concept is more aggressive according to Honda, with deeper sculpting of the body lines. A three-bar grille and deeply set headlights complement the front bumper. The lower front fascia is more aerodynamically formed. The signature taillights of the CR-V remain.
Honda says it will improve the 2012 CR-V with features including a more fuel-efficient engine and reduced body weight. An all-new interior will also be in the works.
